Nashville, TN – (May 9, 2013) – Two-time GRAMMY® nominated rock band SKILLET drew in a packed out crowd at Warner Music Nashville on Tuesday, May 7 to debut music from their highly anticipated new album RISE. Joining the platinum-selling rock quartet for the event was renowned producer Howard Benson and a few of their label friends including Atlantic Records’ EVP and Head of A&R, Pete Ganbarg and Word Entertainment’s President & CEO, Rod Riley. Band members John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Jen Ledger and Seth Morrison shared behind the scenes footage from the making of the new studio album and a colorful Q&A with the group hosted by Ganbarg.

The album RISE includes the already popular singles “Sick of It” and “American Noise.” Upon the lead singles’ debut, both tracks consecutively peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 on iTunes® Overall Rock Chart, with “Sick of It” selling an astounding 21K digital tracks in its first week alone. This week at radio, “Sick of It” landed the No. 1 spot at Christian Rock, just one week after its add date. The track also debuted at No. 25 on the Active Rock Mainstream Chart. Upon its release, "American Noise" was the most added Christian CHR song of the week.
